Some of the many thing i have done, and do with acrylic paint pouring. I started doing custom bricks and stones for landscapes and gardens. Surprisingly, I got a better response than I was planning.
As I just started doing paint pouring about 90 days ago, I think art is good, but could be better. I been focusing on one form, the flip cup, and throwing in the swipe technique in between. I get the best results when i use both of these.
I was told to focus on 1 or 2 different techniques and just keep trying different ones to improve with each one till I get the desired results. The last photo below is my latest flip cup, and I got me best results so far when
I did not use Silicone Oil. This is the oil I use; it’s actually treadmill oil, which is 100% silicone.
I also found out that some paint pour artists use a finger or small end of a paint brush to create designs in paint. And it seems they get a very good pattern when it’s completely dry
Some artists also take their paint markers and highlight or shade the colors after they are dry to make the colors really stand out. I saw a few, and they look amazing.
